Who or what has been the biggest influence on your career?
A patient with chronic Neuroborreliosis was misdiagnosed as MS by a neurologist. The patient is now symptom-free for 12 years now.
What’s your most memorable work moment?
Holding hands with Dalai Lama during a conference.
What’s the single biggest challenge in your work?
To increase acceptance of chronic Lyme disease and tick-borne diseases.
What’s one emerging trend or research that anyone working in your field should know?
Many patients suffer from chronic multiple infections, which can be the reason for CFS, ME, MS, RA, Fibromyalgia, Parkinsons, Alzheimers etc.
What are your top three tips for someone just starting out as a complementary therapist?
Improve the immune system, look at viral infections, look at different complementary therapy options.
What are the key points you’ll be covering in your session at this year’s camexpo?
Lyme disease and coinfections are underestimated as the reason for many overlapping symptoms, look at multiple infections by T-cellular and B-cellular and NK cell testings.
