Dr Deepa Apte

Dr Deepa Apte is a fully qualified medical doctor, a Yoga teacher and an Ayurvedic practitioner. She lectures widely on Ayurveda and Yoga, regularly writes articles for, and features in, leading magazines, and is also the Head of Training at the Ayurveda Pura Academy.

Caroline Shola Arewa

Caroline Shola Arewa is a humanistic psychologist, Yoga master, energy healer, and the author of four books, plus numerous articles, on spiritual and personal development. Founder of the popular Energy 4 Life Coach Training, she won the prestigious CAM award in 2008 for her services to complementary medicine.

Brigitte Nath

Brigitte Nath is the leading Dorn Method Instructor in the UK and very passionate about teaching this method to fellow therapists. She has studied the Dorn Method in her native Germany where she trained with Dieter Dorn. Brigitte is the founder member of the Dorn Method Therapists Association, DMTA.org.uk.

Pauline Baxter

Pauline Baxter has extensive experience both as a massage practitioner and also a tutor for (and a Director of) the Academy of On Site Massage, a training organisation that has particular expertise in Seated Acupressure (on-site) Massage, Indian Head Massage, and also offers a series of one day post-graduate courses.

Chris Parker

Chris is a Senior Tutor for Inspire, having started with them as student and worked his way through all their CPD courses! He has trained extensively in Thai bodywork throughout Thailand. Chris is delighted to be running the Thai Taster Workshops again this year, after sell-out workshops in 2010.

Florence Parot

Florence Parot is a qualified Sophrologist, Nutritionist and Health Life Coach. She has practices in Kent and London Islington. She specialises in stress, burnout and sleep problems. She is founding Director of The Sophrology Academy, the first school in England specialised in training professional Sophrologists.

Swami Saradananda

Swami Saradananda has taught yoga for over 35 years. She is the author of a number of books, including The Power of Breath, Yoga Mind and Body, Teach Yourself Yoga, Chakra Meditation, and tBE Essential Guide to Chakras. She worked with the Sivananda Yoga Centres as a senior teacher in New York, London and Delhi; did personal practice in the Himalayas; and now teaches worldwide.

Ruth Duncan

Ruth has trained in remedial, sports and deep tissue bodywork and has furthered her training in the USA in myofascial and soft tissue approaches. She has taught Integrated Myofascial Therapy (iMFT) and myofascial release for 8 years in the UK and also runs a busy MFR practice near Glasgow.

Rachel Fairweather

Rachel is the Co-Director and Founder of the Jing Institute of Advanced Massage Training, dedicated to bringing the highest level of massage training to the UK. The Jing Institute was created to offer internationally proven techniques to UK therapists in order to advance the level of education, elevate professional standards and bring massage to the forefront of complementary medicine. Rachel has been teaching and practicing massage for over 16 years. She has trained extensively in Eastern and Western bodywork including medical massage, craniosacral, myofascial, trigger point therapy, Thai massage, Amma therapy, Sports massage, visceral manipulation, and neuromuscular techniques. Rachel writes regularly for several massage and complementary health magazines and is a sought after guest lecturer. Rachel continues to travel the world researching the most effective techniques to share with her students and clients. In addition, Rachel continues to treat clients at her Jing Clinic in Brighton.

Susan Findlay

Susan Findley is a certified sport and remedial massage therapist, with a clinic in north London. She is currently a senior lecturer at (and Director of) the North London School of Sports Massage; and is also the author of Sports Massage; a recently published hands-on guide for therapists.

Linda Hodges

Linda Hodges has worked extensively with a variety of health problems and sporting injuries. Having previously worked in business, she knows firsthand how demanding workloads can affect the health and well-being of individuals. Through her practices in London and Essex, she has helped people of all ages to a better quality of life.

Galina Imrie

Galina Imrie is Principal of The Chi Centre for Practical Detoxification in Maidenhead, where she researches, practices and teaches colon hydrotherapy, abdominal and colon massage, live blood analysis and other CAM disciplines. Her best known work Always Look after Number Two, on colon hydrotherapy and digestive health, was published in 2006 and 2008.

Jane Johnson

Author of Deep Tissue Massage and Soft Tissue Release, Chartered Physiotherapist Jane Johnson is co-director of the London Massage Company where she runs a range of 1-day workshops specially designed for massage therapists. Her latest book, Postural Assessment, is due for release December 13th, 2011.

Kim Johnson

Kim is a physiotherapist known for her passion for combining modern manual therapy techniques with complementary therapy skills including acupuncture and Chinese-cupping. She specialises in pregnancy and sacro-iliac disorders as well as soft tissue techniques and myofascial release. Kim teaches many advanced workshops with Inspire Massage Workshops and presents information in a lively, interactive and easy to understand way.
This is Kim’s second year presenting at camexpo.

Dan Kahn

Dan Kahn started using energy to heal over 20 years ago as a result of his experiences in martial arts and meditation. Having qualified in Bi-Aura Therapy, he has been working and teaching as an energy therapist since 2001; and is the CMA’s ‘Energy Medicine Expert’.

Jonathan Lawrence

Jonathan Lawrence, Principal of Turning Point Training, is a trained teacher and osteopath with 24 years of experience. He has undergone training in advanced soft tissue and manipulative techniques, and his students include osteopathic undergraduates, plus medical and complementary professionals across the UK and abroad.

Meghan Mari

Meghan Mari has travelled throughout the USA teaching and providing training in advanced massage techniques and hot stone massage. The former manager and international sales director of New York’s StoneSpa, she believes in the integration of differing modalities of massage to ensure every client is treated as an individual.

Glenda Taylor

Glenda Taylor, founder of Balm Balm 100% Organic Skincare, is an aromatherapist, perfumer and natural formulation consultant. She has written two books, writes regularly for many magazines and has created products for companies such as Lil-Lets, TIGI, Lexus, Arcadia, Little Me Baby Organics and Floracology as well creating bespoke perfumes for Royalty and celebrities

Dympna O’Brien

Dympna O’Brien has been working as a massage teacher and therapist for over 17 years. She is a co-founder Quantum Metta School of Massage, which runs diploma courses in Thai Yoga, Thai foot, holistic, Indian head, aromatherapy, on-site chair and sports massage, and Reiki; plus many CPD workshops.

Gill Thomson

Gill Thomson RGN, RMW, RHV is a qualified Nurse, Midwife, Health Visitor, Reflexologist and Reiki Healer. Gill has been working within the pregnancy and maternity fields all of her working life, a period spanning over three decades. She practises as a midwife both within the NHS and in her own Midwifery Centre, where she is able to combine both her Midwifery with her complementary therapies skills.

Anne Parry

Anne Parry first discovered massage in California, where she lived after graduating from Cambridge. Drawing on her wide experience over 27 years in the field, she began to develop Tsuboki® Face Massage about 10 years ago. Students love her inspiring yet down to earth approach to training.

Carole Preen

Carole Preen is a fellow of both The Aromatherapy and Allied Practitioners Association and The Association of Natural Medicine, as well as an Honorary Member of the International Federation of Aromatherapists. She is also owner and founder of the British Neuroskeletal Re-alignment Therapy Association.

Cameron Reid

Cameron Reid studied Human Biology at the University of Surrey graduating with a first class honours degree in 1982. He spent a year studying Ergonomics at the University of Zurich with Prof Etienne Grandjean. A lifelong interest in why some people are more susceptible to musculoskeletal injury than others led him to train as an Osteopath. He gained a scholarship to study at the world renowned British School of Osteopathy, London, qualifying in 1986 where he later took the position of clinical tutor at the school. One of his main professional interests is helping to educate Therapists, and Personal Trainers involved in manual therapy client assessment and injury prevention. He runs accredited courses and seminars on these subjects for manual therapists. He has been published in Sports Injury Bulletin, Massage World, Embody and Natural Health Magazine. He has just become an Associate Lecturer at the University of East Anglia (UEA) , teaching Osteopathic Techniques on the Undergraduate Physiotherapy Course and lecturing on the Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching at Easton College Norfolk. He has worked for Sport England in the East Anglian Region, and works for Norwich City FC when required. He is regulated by the General Osteopathic Council (No 1086).

Niki Wakeman

Niki loves to use her extensive skin care knowledge in developing treatments and teaching organic skincare, with facial massage influenced from east to west . Her many years of massage in private practice, spas and product houses gives Niki a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw on. Niki runs the Birmingham centre for Inspire Massage Workshops and is a dedicated, charismatic tutor.

Annalisa Zisman

Annalisa Zisman, MD of Inspire Massage Workshops, is a well-respected speaker and such a highly-sought after therapist that her thriving practice books up months in advance! Her dedication to raising standards in therapy training and her commitment to her students make her an inspirational tutor.

Jenny Cox

Jenny Cox is a trainer and practitioner in a number of Holistic Therapies, an NLP practitioner and a Reiki Master. Jenny is also a qualified teacher and won the National Regional New Horizons Award for her teaching in Cambridge, UK.

Jackie Day

Jackie Day is a Registered Naturopath, Nutritional Therapist, Herbalist and Iridologist who incorporates these and other therapies such as EFT and stress therapy into her naturopathic practice. She is principal of the Natural Healthcare College and is a Council member of the Naturopathic Nutrition Association, the General Naturopathic Council and the Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists.

Nick Johnson

Nick qualified in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine in 1997.
He works for the NHS in an Award winning acupuncture pain management department, providing a unique approach to an individual’s health care. The clinic won ‘The Prince of Wales Award for Integrated Medicine 2003 & 2010′ for outstanding work in the NHS. In his ‘spare’ time Nick runs a busy private practice as well as teaching Chinese Cupping and Meridian Massage with Inspire Massage Workshops.

Deborah Kelly
Deborah Kelly is a Massage Therapy Tutor with the Middlesex School of Complementary Medicine. Since qualifying in 1995 Deborah has worked as both a therapist and later as a tutor, specialising in many complementary therapies. She brings energy and enthusiasm to the classroom and her passion for the subject is highly contagious!

Tracey Kiernan

A mother of two, a son aged aged 28 and a daughter aged 15 Tracey is a dedicated and enthusiastic Therapist, committed to personal and professional development.
Tracey combines running a successful private practice in Liverpool, with her role as therapist for a local corporate organisation where she provides treatments for the staff and has been instrumental in developing their groundbreaking wellbeing programme. Tracey has also been called upon on several occasions to provide treatments on tour for a number of A-list celebrities…(sorry..no name dropping here lol)
Tracey travels the country with the Jing Institure in the role of Head Teacher writing and presenting courses and workshops as far afield as Edinburgh and Brighton, and more recently Copenhagen where she presented a workshop at the prestigious MassageSkolen.
Passionate about bodywork Tracey brings a heady mix of humour and professionalism to both her practice and her teaching, and firmly believes that people learn best when they are having fun!
