Prof Dan Burke
Dan Burke is Emeritus Professor of Pharmaceutical Metabolism after recently stepping down as Dean of Science at Sunderland University. He is currently the Head of Research at Nature’s Defence. Professor Burke has devoted his career to cancer. The causes of cancer, its detection, prevention and treatment have all been major components of his research.

Rachel is the Co-Director and Founder of the Jing Institute of Advanced Massage Training, dedicated to bringing the highest level of massage training to the UK. Margo Peinemann
Margo is a nutritional and clinical PNi therapist. in 1996, she started to work for Bonusan as a product advisor and underwent training in nutritional therapy, phytotherapy and clinical PNi. Margo has had her own practice since 2003 and gives various courses and workshops for Bonusan and the Natura Foundation.
Dr Marie Polley
Dr Marie Polley is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster. She has a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences, PhD in Molecular Carcinogenesis and has been a Reiki Master for fifteen years. Marie’s research is focused on evaluating the benefit of supporting people with cancer using complementary therapies, and integrating complementary therapies into the NHS.

Elke Theuwissen
Elke Theuwissen graduated as Master of Biology at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. From 2003 to 2008, she worked on her PhD thesis at the Department of Human Biology, Maastricht University. Her thesis describes several studies in relation to “The role of functional food components in managing cardiovascular risk”. In 2008 Elke joined VitaK (VITamin K), a research company closely associated with the Cardiovascular Research Institute Maastricht (CARIM).

Dr Deepa Apte is a fully qualified medical doctor, a Yoga teacher and an Ayurvedic practitioner. She lectures widely on Ayurveda and Yoga, regularly writes articles for, and features in, leading magazines, and is also the Head of Training at the Ayurveda Pura Academy.
Rebecca Avern
Rebecca Avern is a practising acupuncturist in Oxford, with 12 years experience. She is a senior lecturer and clinical supervisor at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. Rebecca combines the Yin/Yang style of acupuncture, often referred to as TCM, with the 5-Element style which focuses on treating the person’s underlying constitution.
Sheila Crouch
Holistic Health and Self Empowerment Facilitator Since 1989 Sheila has run her holistic and self development practice using hands on therapies, natural remedies, vibrational medicine and transpersonal self discovery and development therapies. Jonathan Lawrence
Jonathan graduated as an osteopath in 1985 and in Homotoxicology, and biopuncture in 2005. bHe has written a number of courses and workshops in advanced soft tissue manipulation, craniosacral techniques and homotoxicology. He has lectured extensively in the UK and abroad to medical and CAM audiences. Jonathan has presented at major conferences organised by the General Osteopathic Council and the Society of Homotoxicology.
Rosemary Lawrence

Jenny Lee, chartered physiotherapist and reflexologist, completed a research project 1994-98 funded by The Foundation for Integrated Medicine and the AoR, Examing the impact of reflexology on childhood asthma. Encouraged by the Children’s improvesd relaxation, s;leep and behaviour, Jenny developed special Reflexology techniques for babies and children – Baby Reflex, in 2005 – 2009.

Paul Lewis is an international speaker and active registered massage therapist. Peter Mole
Peter Mole is Dean of the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. He has been an acupuncture practitioner in Oxford since 1978. He has been teaching for over twenty five years. Martha Roe retired from teaching science after suffering for 18 years with ME/CFS. Paul Medlicott
Paul Medlicott is Chair of the General Council for Massage Therapies, Vice Chair of the Sports Massage Association, and Profession Specific Board Member for Massage for CNHC. He was the Sports Massage representative on LOCOG’s Physical Therapies Workstream for the 2012 Games.
