Many Therapists & Coaches see a slow-down this time of year - You don’t have to
Seasonal factors can be make-or-break a practice if you don’t plan for them. Over the past few years the average drop in clients for many therapists in the Summer, has been about 30%, but that doesn’t have to be the case.
The nice thing about seasonal factors is you can see them coming. There are no surprises here so you can be ready for them.
There are two options:
Spend a little more money on getting the word out in the ways that work
or
Spend a bit more time putting that message out
I always advocate using your allotted time as a therapist / coach to work on your business. If you have less clients to see, then you have more time to promote what you do and how you help people, but keep the same hours is my advice. An hour without a client is a free hour to find clients.
Block-out the time you’re working as a coach or therapist and use any quiet time to reach more people who need your help.
One way to help get the word out is to look for official days dedicated to issues relevant to your practice. Occasions such as the World Health Organisation ‘World No Tobacco Day’ occur throughout the year. Tie your message in to the way it benefits people who are interested in these days where appropriate. It’s an easy bump in visibility when you need it.
Here are two links to resources to help you. The World Health Organisation list of Official Days and the United Nations page for their Official Days too. There are lots more calanders out there but these will help you get going:

There is no reason to be slower in the Summer months. Just plan, and act to make it easier. Now is the time to put yourself and your message of help and hope out there a bit more to ensure you are still helping more people during the summer months.
Keep sharing your help.
Every best wish for success,
John
